These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Meio mobile application and related services ("Meio", "the app", "the platform"), operated by **ORABLU TECH LLP** ("we", "us", "our"), a Limited Liability Partnership registered in Tamil Nadu, India.

Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using Meio, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1. By registering for, accessing, or using Meio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated here by reference.
1.2. If you do not agree, please do not use Meio.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
2.1. You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use Meio.
2.2. You register using a valid Indian mobile number, verified by a one-time password (OTP). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
2.3. Meio is intended for personal, household use within our serviceable areas in India. You may add family members to your household profile; you are responsible for the information you enter about them and confirm you are authorised to provide it.
3. Account Security & Responsibility
3.1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and the device on which it is accessed, and for all activity under your account.
3.2. Notify us immediately at customercare@meio.in of any unauthorised use. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your account.
4. Our Services
4.1. Food ordering & delivery - Meio lets you order meals prepared by our partner kitchen and delivered by our partner rider service to addresses within serviceable pincodes.
4.2. Meio Wallet - A closed-loop prepaid wallet used to pay for products and services on Meio (see Section 7).
4.3. AI features - AI-assisted meal logging and meal planning, powered by third-party AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude). These provide estimates and suggestions only (see Section 8).
4.4. Services depend on availability, serviceability of your location, and continued operation of the platform and our partners. We may pause or limit ordering (for example, when a kitchen is closed or paused) at any time.
5. Orders, Cancellation & Delivery
5.1. An order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order (for example, if an item is unavailable, the kitchen is paused, or your address is outside a serviceable area).
5.2. Because food is prepared fresh and quickly, orders generally cannot be cancelled once the kitchen has begun preparation. Where cancellation is possible, it will be offered in the app.
5.3. Estimated delivery times are indicative, not guaranteed, and may be affected by traffic, weather, or operational factors.
5.4. Refund eligibility for order issues is governed by our **Refund Policy** (see Section 9).
6. Pricing & Payment
6.1. Prices, taxes (including GST), delivery fees, and packaging fees are shown in the app before you confirm an order. Applicable charges are displayed at checkout.
6.2. Payments are processed by our payment partner Razorpay (UPI, cards) or by Meio Wallet. We do not store your full card or UPI credentials.
6.3. AI features (AI meal logging and meal planning) are free to use, subject to fair-use daily limits.
7. Meio Wallet
The following Wallet Terms apply to your use of the Meio Wallet.
Wallet Terms
1. Closed-loop wallet - The Meio Wallet is a closed prepaid instrument issued by ORABLU TECH LLP for the sole purpose of paying for products and services on the Meio platform.
2. No withdrawal - Funds added to the Meio Wallet cannot be withdrawn, transferred to a bank account, or transferred to any other person or entity.
3. Maximum balance - The Meio Wallet balance is capped at ₹10,000 per customer at any given time, in compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines for closed-system prepaid payment instruments.
4. Refunds - Refunds for orders paid via Meio Wallet will be credited back to the Meio Wallet. Refunds for orders paid via card/UPI may be credited to either your original payment method or your Meio Wallet, at your option (subject to availability).
5. Bonus credits - Bonus credits added through promotional packs are part of the wallet balance and follow the same rules as regular top-ups. Bonus credits are spendable on Meio orders only.
6. Service availability - The Meio Wallet is provided as a payment convenience and depends on continued operation of the Meio platform. In the event of service discontinuation, ORABLU TECH LLP will communicate the refund process for outstanding wallet balances separately.
7. No interest - The Meio Wallet does not bear interest. Customers do not earn any returns on balances held in the wallet.
8. No expiry - Funds in the Meio Wallet do not expire and remain available until used, subject to these Wallet Terms.
9. Account deletion - If you delete your Meio account, any remaining Meio Wallet balance (including bonus credits) is forfeited at the time of deletion and cannot be refunded, withdrawn, or transferred.
8. AI Features & Health Disclaimer
8.1. Meio's AI meal logging and meal planning are powered by third-party AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude). Outputs - including calorie, macronutrient, and micronutrient figures, and meal suggestions - are automated estimates and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
8.2. Meio is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, or healthcare advice.** AI outputs are for general informational and convenience purposes only. Do not rely on them for medical decisions. Consult a qualified doctor or registered dietitian for advice about your health, allergies, or dietary needs.
8.3. You are responsible for checking ingredients and allergens for yourself and your family members before consuming any food.
9. Refunds
9.1. Refunds for order issues are available within the eligibility window and on the grounds set out in our **Refund Policy**, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Acceptable Use
10.1. You agree not to:
- use Meio for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
- abuse free AI allowances, promotions, refunds, or wallet bonuses (including through multiple or fake accounts);
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, other accounts, or our systems;
- upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or
- interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the app or its security features.
10.2. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably suspect of fraud or abuse.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1. The Meio name, logo, brand, app, design, text, and software are owned by or licensed to ORABLU TECH LLP and are protected by Indian law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
12. Your Content
12.1. You retain ownership of content you create in the app (such as meal logs and ratings). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, process, and store such content to operate and improve the services.
12.2. Meal photos used for AI meal logging are processed to generate an estimate and are not retained after processing (see our Privacy Policy).
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1. Food safety, preparation, and quality are the responsibility of the preparing kitchen. We act as a technology and ordering platform connecting you with our partner kitchen and rider service.
13.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ORABLU TECH LLP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for reliance on AI estimates. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law.
13.3. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
14. Service Changes & Termination
14.1. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by other reasonable means, and continued use means acceptance.
14.2. You may stop using Meio and delete your account at any time from within the app.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
15.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
15.2. Subject to applicable consumer-protection rights, the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
