This Privacy Policy explains how **ORABLU TECH LLP** ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use the Meio app ("Meio"). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Sensitive Personal Data) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Data We Collect



1.1. Account & profile data - your mobile number, name, optional email, and the family-member profiles you create (such as name, relation, and basic body details you choose to enter).



1.2. Order & address data - delivery addresses, order history, ratings, and refund requests.



1.3. Payment data - payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive transaction confirmations and limited details (such as method and status); we do not store your full card or UPI credentials.



1.4. AI feature data - text or photos you submit for AI meal logging, and the meal-plan preferences you provide.



1.5. Usage & device data - app events and basic device information, including a device identifier used to show and manage the list of devices signed in to your account, collected through analytics (see Section 5) to operate and improve the app.



1.6. Photos you upload - profile/avatar photos for household members, and photos you attach as evidence when raising a refund request. These are stored securely in private storage accessible only to your account and our review team. (This is separate from meal photos for AI logging, which are not stored - see Section 3.)



2. How We Use Your Data



2.1. To provide and operate the services - process orders, arrange delivery, run the Meio Wallet, and generate AI estimates and plans.



2.2. To send transactional communications - OTPs, order and refund updates, and important service notices.



2.3. To provide customer support and handle grievances and refunds.



2.4. To analyse and improve the app, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the platform secure.



2.5. To comply with legal obligations.



3. Data We Do Not Collect or Keep



3.1. Meal photos are not stored. Photos you submit for AI meal logging are sent for processing to generate an estimate and are discarded after processing. We retain only the resulting estimate (such as calories and nutrients), not the image.



3.2. We do not perform medical diagnoses and do not knowingly collect health records or other special-category data beyond the basic profile details you choose to enter.



4. Sharing With Third Parties



We share only what is necessary, with partners who help us run the service:



4.1. Partner kitchen (via Petpooja) - order details needed to prepare your food.



4.2. Rider service (uEngage) - your name, delivery address, and contact number to complete delivery.



4.3. Razorpay - to process payments and wallet top-ups.



4.4. MSG91 - to send OTPs and transactional messages.



4.5. Anthropic - text/photos submitted for AI features are processed by Anthropic's Claude to generate estimates and plans, then discarded as described above.



4.6. PostHog - privacy-conscious product analytics (see Section 5).



4.7. We may disclose data where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process. We do not sell your personal data.



5. Cookies, Analytics & Tracking



5.1. We use PostHog to understand how the app is used (for example, sign-ups, orders, and feature usage) through event tracking. Analytics events are tied to a non-identifying household identifier and are configured to **exclude personal content** such as names, dish names, photos, and free-text notes.



6. Where & How We Store Data



6.1. Data is stored using Supabase on managed cloud infrastructure, with an India data region preferred where available. We apply access controls and security measures described in Section 9.



7. Data Retention



7.1. We retain your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the services and meet legal obligations.



7.2. When you delete your account, deletion is immediate and permanent - it cannot be undone or recovered. Your personal data (such as your profile, family members, saved addresses, and meal log) is erased right away. Records we are required by law to keep - for example tax, order, and payment records - are retained in an anonymised form that is no longer linked to your identity.



8. Your Rights



8.1. Subject to applicable law, you may:

- access the personal data we hold about you;

- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;

- delete your account and data (from within the app);

- withdraw consent for optional processing; and

- raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer.



8.2. To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us at the details in Section 12.



9. Security



9.1. We use reasonable security practices and procedures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database, to protect your data - consistent with the IT Rules, 2011 and the DPDP Act, 2023.



9.2. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but work to protect your data and limit access to those who need it.



10. Data Breach Notification



10.1. In the event of a personal-data breach likely to affect you, we will take prompt remedial steps and notify the relevant authority (including the Data Protection Board of India, where applicable) and affected users as required by law.



11. Children



11.1. Meio is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from a child to create an account. Family-member profiles (which may include minors) are created and managed by the adult account holder, who is responsible for that information.
