You can delete your MEIO account and all associated personal data at any time, directly within the Meio app.

Steps to delete your account

1.) Open the Meio app and sign in with your phone number.

2.) Go to Profile → Delete Account.

3.) Confirm the deletion when prompted.

4.) Your account and personal data will be deleted immediately.

What is deleted?

Deletion is immediate and permanent - it cannot be undone or recovered. When you delete your account, we erase your personal data right away, including:

1.) Your profile and mobile number

2.) Family-member profiles (name, relation, and any body details entered)

3.) Saved delivery addresses

4.) Your meal log and nutrition history

5.) Wellness logs and saved meal plans

6.) Uploaded photos (profile/avatar photos and refund-evidence photos)

7.) Any remaining Meio Wallet balance is forfeited on deletion

What is retained?

Certain records that we are required to keep by law - for example tax, order, and payment records - are retained in an anonymised form that is no longer linked to your identity, in line with applicable Indian law (including the DPDP Act, 2023). These records cannot be used to identify you.
